Breathtaking Riverfront Hideaway in Wareham

The place was a little dusty and there were bugs around that must’ve died months ago or something on the pillow when I got ready for bed. The house is in a very peaceful and private place could make memories with your family there. My experience was bad because they’re was no gas, which means I could not cook on the stove or have hot water to shower for the weekend. I am not the one to complain but the experience was bad. The host tried his hardest to make it up to me and my guest but we have never had to deal with anything like that before. Hopefully things get in order so I can go back and have a better experience next time

The house was as described and beautiful. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean, roomy and comfortable. The soaking tub was amazing! This was one of the easier rentals we have had because the host didn’t require the beds to be stripped or for us to do laundry. That was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend renting this property.

My good friends and I enjoyed this private, well kept, and cozy stay at MIlan’s place. It was perfect for our day trip to King Richard’s Faire. We all had a comfy bed to sleep in and enjoyed the electric fireplace at night. In addition to all the games we enjoyed playing. We also loved the luxury tub this morning before leaving. We would highly recommend this place and would come back with our son and dog due to all the family accommodations. Thank you for hosting us!

The house and property are beautiful and very peaceful. My dog and I enjoyed walking the trails cut into the woods. However, the listing isn’t exactly accurate - there isn’t beach access and the house is split into two apartments. That being said, you don’t have full access to the yard as it’s shared with whoever else is staying. Unfortunately - and I know the hosts can’t control this - the guests in the other half of the house had an unfriendly dog and we couldn’t enjoy the yard to its full extent. Additionally, what we did get to use of the yard had broken glass and trash strewn about - but being able to use the trails is what saved this experience for me. Like I said, the house, or rather apartment, is all great on the inside and nice to look at from outside - but given the discrepancies between what’s presented in the photos and descriptions, and the actuality of the property, has left a bad taste in my mouth.

What an amazing place! Everything was so thoughtfully put together. I love that. It rained most of our trip, there were plenty of games to keep my family occupied and enjoying themselves. When it was nice out, a short trail around the property brought us to the water and back up to the house. It was perfect

Thanks to Milan for a wonderful home away from home. We felt very welcome indeed. Lovely surroundings - so quiet and peaceful. The seating area on the deck with the gas fire and festoon lighting makes for the perfect setting to gather, strum a guitar, and enjoy a glass of wine (we did all 3).

Very clean and cute house. Felt comfortable throughout the stay.

Milan was very responsive even before we booked his home. It is secluded and very peaceful. We were 6 adults and one child and had ample space and privacy for all of us. Our son loved “his room” (bunk beds and toys). The home was very clean and exactly what we needed. We never even heard the other guests in the attached apartment. We would gladly stay here again!

Milan is a really great host and did a nice job with house. I assume we were one of the first guests to stay in the house, so we had a few minor requests - Milan was super responsive and helpful with all communication! The rooms and amenities were really nice, recently renovated. 4 nice bedrooms with finished basement for overflow (with couch, TV, games, laundry room, and plenty of room for air mattress). Patio is really nice. Private location. Located near the river (view of river through trees). There are two units connected to each other - but still very private with separate entrances, and secluded patios (we didn’t even run into guest next door). Overall great stay!
