Amazing Mountain Views: Countryside Retreat

The house is in a beautiful spot at the top of a mountain with a wonderful view, especially at sunrise and sunset. The drive to Okemo took about 25 minutes. The space is generous, with one very large bedroom, one very small bedroom, and an open loft area with a king bed that is not private. It might be a good idea to provide some privacy screens. There are additional single beds in the basement, and it comfortably accommodated three families. The second floor does not have a bathroom, making it a bit inconvenient for people sleeping upstairs. The kitchen had the essential equipment we required, and despite being a bit small, it served our needs. There is a two-car garage and a Level 2 charger available for an electric vehicle. Communication from Milan was timely and accurate, and check-in was easy.

Great stay, wonderful views and location. House needs some work in terms of structure there were things that were ripping off the house like door screens and wood on walls. Tv remote didnt have battery and sound system didn’t work. Chairs outside were broken. But other than that it was a great time which made everything else irrelevant

Milan was super responsive to all of our questions. The house is stunning and there’s so much space for a group of 10. The surrounding views were beautiful to wake up to. I would definitely recommend bringing a car that has 4 wheel drive if visiting in the winter as the driveway is steep and icy. They did have someone come to salt the road for us though which was great!

The views alone are enough to book your stay here. 360 views of the mountains. We’ve been coming up to this area a lot this year but this was our best view point.

Milan was a great host. Quick to respond, answer any questions I had and very accommodating. This home has the most breathtaking views you could imagine of the mountains and the sky. Be prepared to take lots of sunset pictures! The home is very private with lots of nature to explore from the wooded back yard to walks down the dirt road of the mountain top you’re staying on. The home was clean, kitchen equipped with everything you need for meal preparations. We played many games from the living room as well as started a puzzle. We didn’t use the fireplace due to it being to warm out still, but it would be amazing in the cooler weather. I was able to read, write, enjoy nature and just totally unplug in this space. The property is so…quiet and peaceful. If you’re looking for serenity, comfort and nature in all its colors from sunsets to foggy mountain top views from the upstairs loft bedroom…This is your place! The house is at the end of a quiet (and well maintained) dirt road on the top of a hill. We really enjoyed the quiet property and awesome views. We drove up to check out Ludlow only to realize that everything we were looking for was right in Weston 10 min down the road (cute shops, antiques, food).

Location of Airbnb was great with awesome scenic views. Enjoyed the surrounding space and local shops. The space can host a large groups but would recommend smaller due to the layout of the house. Overall good value.

Moon Hill Retreat, indeed - this gorgeous house with incredible views is truly set apart. At the top of a 2-mile unpaved road just above the town of Weston, with just one other house in shouting distance, the location is serene and peaceful, and from the deck and the rooftop you can see mountains and trees for many miles. The hot tub is amazing - perfect temperature and very clean. The beds are firm and comfy, towels and sheets are nice, and the kitchen is well stocked with cookware. Easy check-in using keypad codes. Had older family members join us, and they enjoyed it as well! A really nice stay.

We rented Moon Hill Retreat for a girls weekend to celebrate a bride to be. The house is beautiful and has a great view of the mountains! We even got to enjoy the Hot Tub which was so relaxing! We definitely felt at home. Thank you Milan!

One of the most spectacular Airbnbs we have ever stayed in! Perched on a hilltop with breathtaking views, this home exceeded our expectations. The drive up was smooth, and Milan provided clear, helpful check-in instructions that made our arrival seamless. The house itself is stunning - spacious rooms, soaring ceilings and a large patio perfect for relaxing. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials. We especially loved the game room downstairs and the hot tub outside. It was a perfect setting for quality family time with our infant. The home is both beautifully decorated and very kid-friendly, clearly designed with thought and care. We would absolutely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

Between the incredible view, amenities, and communicative host, we had an amazing relaxing getaway!

Milan was extremely responsive with helping us check in earlier after cleaning was done and was a text away with any questions we had! It was a simple 23 minute drive to Okemo and a little less to the cute town of Ludlow, 45 to killington, and 20 minutes to closer mountains like local Magic Mountain and Bromley! The house was clean and well stocked with enough firewood and kitchen supplies! Just needed some new shampoo / body wash, but everything from towels to linens were provided :) thank you Milan! The views were beautiful from the porch! My dog loved it.

We had the best time in our annual Vermont Trip and everyone said this was the best place we have ever stayed! The views were incredible, the hosts were speedy to respond to any questions, and the area is quaint and perfect. We went to Vermont Country Store (so cool and just a 9 minute drive) every day. We also fell in love with The Left Bank restaurant, right by the Country Store, all deciding it was the best food we have ever had. Book this place, you won't regret it!

This house is beautiful however when we were there the cleanliness of the bedding was questionable. Dirty sheets were left out, one of the windows was missing and haphazardly replaced with a large sheet of plywood, and there was a lot of drywall water damage on the ceiling in the basement. The host was able to get us a new set of sheets quickly. Still enjoyed my stay but maintenance needs to be done on this home. Snow clearing was prompt and thorough. Views are unmatched and the two car heated garage is a major plus during the winter. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The location is unmatched and perfect for skiing Okemo.

My partner and I booked this property for a long weekend in December as a romantic getaway. This place was perfect for what we were looking for to escape the city. The house was a bit up the mountain, which was ideal as we wanted a bit of privacy and to enjoy nature. The kitchen was stocked with all the things we needed, including sharp knives! The beds were comfortable and the double-sided fireplace was fantastic, plus there was plenty of firewood in the garage. It was clean and bright, quite spacious for more people than the two of us. The hot tub was wonderful at night in the crisp cold air and you could see so many stars, as well as the bright moon. Even the little welcome book was very well done with instructions and suggestions. We loved it so much that we are planning on staying again next autumn!

Stunning views - you really are on top of a mountain here, complete with wild wind and unexpected snow squalls, which we LOVED! Sleeping under cathedral ceilings and in front of the two-way fireplace was even more incredible than we thought it would be. Milan was gracious and helpful with a couple issues that arose, and the amount of wood was much appreciated. Highly recommend The Left Bank (9 minutes away in Weston) for a high end dinner (if you can tear yourself away from the view!).

Although we missed the foliage by just a tad, the views of the valley and mountains were breathtaking and full of serenity. We enjoyed our stay at the moon hill retreat! Milan was very fast to respond to during our stay and made us feel welcome. The location was beautiful, off the beaten path, private and peaceful. The home itself was beautiful with scenic views from the balcony and cathedral ceilings. Although we felt at times the basics were missing while trying to maintain the home; lack of cleaning products for counter tops/tables, dish washer detergent, dish towels, extra paper towels etc.

Milan was super quick and flexible in responding to any of my queries. He was able to accommodate my preferences. The kitchen was stocked well with basic spices and some snacks. This home is a perfect location for a getaway from the craziness of work and city life. I loved the open bedroom concept of the house. It has enough space and I felt like a king in my room with the high ceiling roof & large windows. The rooftop has a 360 degree which is spectacular and breathtaking. I am a dancer so you can surely get some amazing videos here. There’s not much around in the area but there are cute cafés and shops a few miles away which is not too bad. If you’re looking to just connect to nature & have a relaxing holiday, this is the place! Fall & Winters are the best seasons! I surely give it a 5 star for my needs & preferences!

Me and my best friend just stayed here for her birthday weekend with our siblings and had a blast. The house felt so cozy and the beds were so comfortable to sleep in. Waking up to the sunrise and the Mountain View’s were unbelievable. Anything I needed or had questions on, Milan would answer within minutes. I can’t say enough good things about staying here! We will definitely be back.

Amazing house to use for a weekend away!

We had a terrific time at Moon Hill!! We were nervous when the area had torrential rains and awful flooding just a couple weeks before we were to arrive. But Milan was excellent at communicating honestly and keeping us up to date on the situation. This house and immediate area was lucky. We saw plenty of the destruction the flooding caused. Despite that, the setting is wonderful, the house is very spacious, clean with very interesting use of space. If you wanted total privacy for all sleeping arrangements you might not be thrilled. But we had grown kids with spouses/significant others, and 2 dogs stay for a couple nights and we were fine and comfortable. It was clean and had all the amenities you’d need. Absolutely loved the expansive deck for early morning relaxing, or stargazing. On the top of the house you can climb a ladder onto the observatory. HUGE bonus!! Location was perfect for us. Off the beaten path but not too far from whatever you wanted!

Absolutely beautiful and super quiet- if you get a chance, definitely go to the roof top, it has an absolutely gorgeous view. The main bed room was very spacious and nice to sleep in with comfy sheets. The kitchen is loaded with basics such as cooking oil, spices, foil, etc. The host responds super quick and is flexible. If you come during rainy days be careful since in order to get to the house you must go through a dirt path on a hill and it could become dangerous. Definitely recommend Pizza stone VT- close by, awesome live music, and good pizza! The stores such as Sage Jewelry and the book store are super cute and definitely recommend visiting. Everyone is super friendly everywhere you go!

I had a weekend getaway with my friends here and it was wonderful. The place is in top of the hill and as described it is the last house in the area. The rooftop was a plus point, view was just sooo beautiful. And yes only issue for me was the curtain, there was no window curtains or blinds and at night it is kinda scary and I am a scaredy cat😅. But other than that this place is very peaceful and beautiful and the place has all the amenities as described and kitchen was filled with all the items as well. I would definitely recommend you guys to give this beautiful Moonhill retreat a go. Thankyou Milan for having us.

The hosts were kind and offered us to check out a little later to accommodate our travel plan. This home is huge with a very open floor plan. There is limited privacy and no window curtains. This was fine for my trip but can see how it could be an issue.

If you are looking for a spacious yet cozy AirBnb nestled atop a cliff with beautiful sunrise, you’ve come to the right place. We had one gorgeous day where we went skiing (quite a few options) and explored local restaurants. The other day was super windy with snow hence we stayed in played board games and really spent quality time within the house. The large windows give you an opportunity to admire the outdoors from the cozy comforts of this house. Definitely recommend this Airbnb for anyone wanting to enjoy the gorgeous views from the house.

Our family rented this home for 6 weeks to enjoy Vermont skiing. We loved the house and we were sad to leave it. It was close to bromley and the space is well maintained and was perfect for us, coming home after a long day on the slopes. Milan is super responsive and helpful. Very enjoyable and would recommend!

Wow! What an amazing location! Gorgeous house, amazing views, and great for families. Bonus, they allow dogs!! Family went skiing, dog and I relaxed in the house. Milan was so quick to respond to any questions, but there weren’t many.

Returned today from multi day Okemo ski trip, 4 adults, 4 children. We all loved this house & location. The architecture & views are stunning. Pool table in the basement was nice bonus and the living room is great for hanging out and playing charades, etc by the amazing fireplace. I give 9 stars. Took 1 star off for some missing tiles (exposed sheetrock) in master bathroom and broken/missing darts for game room dart board. But these minor negatives did not take away from overall amazing experience & stay.
